Margaret Smoker, 101, of Gloucester, died on Oct. 20, 2023.

She was born Dec. 8, 1921 to Simon and Sallie King in Atglen, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her siblings, and two grandsons.

Survivors include her children, Verda Bennett, Sanford Smoker, Nancy Nelson, Norma Brenneneman, and Marlin

Smoker; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Providence Mennonite Church, Newport News, with a funeral service to begin at noon, followed by a graveside service.
