Mardi Gras festivities Saturday at Flat Iron Crossroads

Corey and the Zydeco Hot Peppers will perform during an evening of traditional Mardi Gras festivities beginning at 6:30, Saturday, Feb. 25, at Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase. The Short Lane Eats food truck will provide a Louisiana-inspired cuisine.
Tickets are $15 online at flatironcrossroads.com or $18 at the door.
Corey Arceneaux is a Louisiana zydeco accordionist and band leader. He and his band mates, longtime professional musicians Ben Holmes (drummer), Doug Bell (guitar), Gene Monroe (bass), and Pat Clark (rubboard/frottoir), have performed as the Zydeco Hot Peppers internationally and in the U.S. for years at special events, festivals, clubs, and Mardi Gras balls. They have also recorded five studio albums. In addition, Arceneaux hosts the radio show “Hot Sauce Saturday” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at www.z1059.com.
