Marcene Elaine Chaffin, age 74, passed peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her home in Gloucester. Born in Bemidji, Minnesota, on June 30, 1950 to the late Doris Dickinson Stai and Orvin M. Stai, she was a professional photographer for much of her career and loved the outdoors and wildlife. Traveling in their RV was another favorite pastime with family, tending her gardens and boating with her husband. In 2017, she and her husband moved to Gloucester to be closer to their son Mike (Shannon) and seven grandchildren. Marcy was happily married to her husband Rick of 54 years. She is also survived by their son, Andrew (Amy) of Colorado, and siblings, Richard Moe and Dain Moe. The family will celebrate her life on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home at noon, conducted by the Rev. Richard Croxton. The inurnment will be private.
