Main Street Trick-or-Treat will be held on Tuesday (Halloween) in the stores along Gloucester’s Main Street.This community event is sponsored by the Gloucester Main Street Association, the Main Street Preservation Trust and the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office. Children can walk and celebrate the holiday in a fun and safe environment.
Road closures will be in effect from 5-7 p.m. for all non-emergency and non-resident vehicles. Typically, about 4,000 people come out for this event. Last year, the GMSA passed out around 2,000 cups to trick-or-treaters.
In Mathews
From 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department will host Trunk-or-Treat events at the Court House, Bohannon and Cobbs Creek stations.
