Spring is almost here and that means many things to many people. For members of the Gloucester Daffodil Show Committee, it means weeks of preparations for this year’s show, which will be held on April 6-7 at Botetourt Elementary School. And residents of Gloucester’s Main Street are encouraged to get into the act.
The committee has been busy thinking of ways the businesses and residents can help everyone who visits Gloucester that weekend to feel “the love of daffodils,” a release stated. To that end, they are encouraging all along Main Street to decorate their shops and yards using the festival’s theme of “Daffodils Along the Water’s Edge.” The displays will be judged on the following categories:
