Mabel Williams Davis, 71, of Hayes, died Feb. 15, 2012 at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

She was a member of Church of the Nazarene. She passionately embraced a love of making crafts and delightfully would share these gifts with all her friends and to her friends she was known as "Ms. Tucker’s Store." Mabel was a wonderful Christian lady, generous and kind, who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John H. Davis; her parents, Leslie and Louise Coates Williams; and her grandparents, Finley and Mary Coates whom she lived with and was treated like their own daughter.

She is survived by a host of cousins including two special cousins, Mary Oliver and family, and Fay Williams Wood and family, and her sister-in-law, Shirley Harless.

Funeral services conducted by Pastor Edward Ewell were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
