Lucy Eunice Forrest of Mathews, entered into eternity on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Riverside Walter Reed Convalescent Center.

She was born in Mathews County on Aug. 13, 1921.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee Forrest, and two brothers, Robert Cosby Sr. and George Cosby.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister, Margaret Clark; three nieces, Marjorie Brooks (Frank), Charlotte Taylor, Sandra Bell (Alonzo); two nephews, Robert Cosby Jr. (Mary) and Shelton Foster; one sister-in-law, Elsie Cosby, and a host of great-nieces and -nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal. Burial will be in Poplar Woods Cemetery, Cardinal. Viewing will be Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, from 4-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
