Lt. Gov. Sears to visit Gloucester, Mattaponi

Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle Sears will be on the Middle Peninsula from 1-5 p.m. tomorrow, July 17, for economic meetings and tours of local water-related businesses.
At 1 p.m., the Lt. Governor, along with Delegate Keith Hodges (R-Urbanna), will be at Fulcrum Concepts, 776 Patriot Way, Mattaponi, VA for several presentations, including a discussion of Rural Coastal Economic Development by Lewie Lawrence of the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission, a briefing on the West Point Airport by John Edwards, an exchange of Virginia flight information by Craig Parisot, and a talk and tour of Fulcrum Concepts, a weaponization and engineering firm, by Stan Wood. The public is invited.
At 3 p.m., the group will have a tour of Mobjack Bay Seafood at 6578 Jarvis Road, Gloucester, led by John Vigliotta. Sears will then be given a waterman's tour and demonstration of oystering by Capt. J.C. Hudgins and Dan Knott, president and vice president of the Virginia Watermen's Association.
