Lt. CMDR (USN-ret.) Joe C. Denby, 76, of Gloucester, Va., passed away on 22 August, 2022.
His naval career spanned 32 years; 19 more years in naval shipyards.

Survived by his wife of 56 years, Theresa of Gloucester; daughters, Christina Webb (Adam) of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, and Cheryl Hall (Kendrick) of Gloucester; grandsons, Bradley Drumright (Danielle) of Piqua, Ohio, and Richard Webb of Hamilton, Ohio.
