Mrs. Louise W. Marsh, age 97, of Mathews County, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. Louise was born on May 5, 1924 to the late Harry and Maude Williams. She was a member of Newington Baptist Church, and before making Gloucester House and then Riverside Convalescent Center in Mathews her residence, she was very active in the Corr Sunday School Class, WMU-Horner Circle, VIP Group, and the Sanctuary Choir. Upon graduation from Achilles High School in 1942 she worked at the Naval Mine Depot in Yorktown and The Williamsburg Lodge in Colonial Williamsburg. Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow W. Regensburg Sr., Richard D. Marsh, and a son, Woodrow W. Regensburg Jr.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Kay Bonniville and husband Kenneth, Diane Ball and husband Louis, and Michele Pearson and husband Tom; grandchildren, Melissa B. Pouchot and husband Danny, Daniel Ball, Jerome Bonniville and wife Jennifer, Jason Ball and wife Barbara, Holly Gwyn, Heather Marshall and husband Kenny; also, great-grandchildren, Trevor and wife Grace, Jaqueline and husband Daniel, Tanner and Westin Bonniville, Christina and Isaac Pouchot, Kaitlyn and Madison Ball, Robbie, Molly, and Waylon Crow and Loralei Marshall, little one to be born later and a number of relatives; also, special friends, Joyce Scherer, Linda Hornby, and the late Lillie Joyce. The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, from 2-3 p.m. at Newington Baptist Church, 6169 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061. Funeral service will begin at 3 o’clock conducted by the Rev. Mike Gray, the Rev. James Evans, the Rev. Jared Berry, and the Rev. Richard Whiteheart. Interment will follow in Gloucester Point Cemetery. In memory of our loved one, contributions may be made to the building fund at Newington Baptist Church, 6169 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
