Louis F. Landerer Sr., 88, passed away peacefully Jan. 4, 2012 in his apartment at Sanders Assisted Living in Gloucester.
Lou was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Catherine M. Landerer. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Greg Landerer and his wife Josephine, Louis F. Landerer Jr., Lynn Gustin and her husband Randy, Dawn Edinger, Mark Landerer and his wife Charlene; grandchildren, Richard Landerer, Gina and Frank Affentranger, Shannon and Mark Lapham, Crystal Danielson, Rachel and Marshall Sossamon, Derrick and Lisa Edinger, Louis F. Landerer III, Melissa Pearson, Andrea Landerer, Jocelyn and Tony Lumanog, Vance Gustin, Morgan Gustin; his great-grandchildren, Quinton Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Gillian Edinger, Michael Nunns, Reagan Lapham, Kayleigh Nunns, Ava Landerer and Alex Lapham.
Lou was a World War II veteran. He was retired from the New York Telephone Company. He had a wonderful way with people and always loved a good joke. He was a talented woodworker who took pride in his work being found from coast to coast.
