A funeral for Prophet Lorenzo Lemon of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Shepherdsville Baptist Church, Gloucester. He died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.

Mr. Lemon was a member of Shepherdsville Baptist Church, its music ministry and former church treasurer. He was a veteran of World War II and a retiree of the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Anderson Lemon; daughter, Barbara Brookins; brother, Franklin Lemon; sister, Mary Lemon Curley, and a grandson, all of Gloucester.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday in Shepherdsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow the funeral in the church cemetery.
