With the help of Teresa White of the Shear Perfection salon in Mathews, Jodie Hurst was able to donate 15 inches of her hair that she mailed to Locks of Love organization in Florida. Locks of Love recipients are financially disadvantaged children, age 21 and under, suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Hurst is shown here before and after her haircut.
