Locals voice ideas for old Page site

Since obtaining the old Page Middle School site in early 2022 from the Gloucester County School Board, the Board of Supervisors has had many discussions on what to do with the property. Ideas previously discussed by supervisors for the site have included retail, industrial, athletics and community-focused uses.
In this week’s Gazette-Journal survey question, we asked the community through our Facebook page what they think should be done with the old Page site. More than 600 responses were received from last Thursday through Monday.
The most popular choice among survey takers by far was turning the site into a sports complex at 47.5 percent of the vote. The second-most common answer was to make the site into a community center (18.5 percent), directly followed by turning the property into a park (12.7 percent).
