The death of Judge Griffin Taylor Garnett of Poplar Grove was a sad blow to the county. His death was due to blood poison brought on by a cut from a wood saw, and though Drs. White, Vaden and Foster did everything in their power to save him, they were unable to stay the progress of the disease.
