Local author to give talk on ‘Where History and Fiction Intersect’

The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society will hold its next program in their Zooming In On Local History Virtual Speaker Series at 3 p.m. next Thursday, April 14.
Local author Nan Harvey will present “Where History and Fiction Intersect: Writing the Story of Rev. David Lindsay of Wicomico Parish Church.” Harvey will discuss genealogical and historical research on her ancestors and the colonial world they lived in, and how this became the basis for her recently published historical novel, “A History Not Past.”
A lifelong Southerner, Harvey has lived nearly half her life in Virginia. In 1999, she bought an old farmhouse outside of Kilmarnock and spent weekends there until 2006, when she sold her architectural and construction inspection business and relocated there full-time.
