Local artists to display work

The ladies of the Virginia Northern Neck Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host an event that aims to honor and celebrate the rich contributions of African American artists from the Northern Neck community.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Segar’s Legacy Event Center, 5851 Richmond Highway, Tappahannock.
This gathering will showcase the talent and creativity of several inspiring individuals. “This will be a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty and creativity of these incredible artists,” a release stated. Light refreshments will be served.
