Among the classes being offered by local art galleries during the coming weeks are a class for children ages 6 and up to paint a beehive, shown at left, from 5:30 p.m.-6:30.p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Arts on Main in Gloucester at a cost of $25, and a class for adults to paint a gourd bird cottage, to be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 1 at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews at a cost of $40.
