The 5 Rivers Woman’s Club recently placed a pair of free lending libraries in the county, part of the Little Free Library project. The lending libraries are boxes where people can drop off or pick up books to read. Above, Nancy Dwoyer and Susan Jenkins (with help from top assistant Oscar the dog) restock books at the library set up by the club at Ark Park. Below, Susan Jenkins’ husband Mike (with Oscar once again) restocks the Little Library at Dutton’s Store at Woods Cross Roads. There are a number of other free lending libraries throughout the county, including Beaverdam Park, Gloucester Point Beach Park and Woodville Park.
