Brett Lindsay, a 2017 Gloucester High School graduate, has signed to play baseball professionally with the Jablonec Blesk in the Czech Republic. Lindsay played last year with the Feldkirch Cardinals in the Austrian Professional Baseball League.
Lindsay graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2021 and finished his baseball career there with 188 hits and 120 RBIs. He was named All ODAC (Old Dominion Athletic Conference) three times and was also selected as EMU Freshman Male Athlete of the year in 2018.
The Blesk played more than 60 games last year, highlighted by a 13-game winning streak. The 2023 season will begin in early April and runs through October.
Lindsay is currently finishing his master’s program in occupational leadership and coaching at Christopher Newport University on Coach John Harvell’s staff.
