Linda Faye Saunders Flanagan of Gloucester, born on April 22, 1941 in Clarksburg, W.Va., passed away on March 25, 2014. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family, and will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Saunders and Beatrice Margarite Tripplett Saunders; siblings, Emma Jean Hamrick, Larry Edward Saunders, Gail Lee Cogar, William A. Saunders Jr., and Marquette Jane Harper, all of West Virginia.

She will be missed by her children, Kelly Flanagan and Kimberly Everett and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Shawna Flanagan, Jessica, Justin, and Jennifer Everett of Gloucester, and Jillian Everett of Richmond, and the light of her life, grandson, Joseph Everett, also of Gloucester.

She is also survived by her siblings, Robert A. Saunders and wife Marge, Phyllis Torjak and husband Edward, and Gary Saunders, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, all of Clarksburg, W.Va.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at 9737 Cooks Landing Lane, Hayes, Va. 23072-4017, the Crown Point Marina/York River Yacht Club building in Guinea, Va. Time will be 6-8 p.m.

In keeping with our mother’s wishes, we ask you to arrive with a light heart and a covered dish for a potluck reception after the remembrance. Dress is casual.
