In the editorial “Lower the temperature,” you raised issues that naturally raise temperatures. Voters strongly disagree about many things.
Some of us even back opposing candidates for identical reasons—get big money out of politics, government out of private lives. How hard is that?I think your title is solid, fine advice.
However, I disagree with a couple of things you wrote.
You suggested supporters AND detractors of Trump “can agree” with his claim “one of the saddest days in the history of our country” was when Trump was arraigned in federal court.
Quite the opposite. It was one of the best days for our country, because it showed the rule of law still alive, despite a whole string of people now in jail the former “leader of the free world” hired to help him destroy. Destroy what, you ask?
