I awakened one day to a “woke” world. Everything was different and “Those who know what is best for you” said that was the way it should be. I lost my way because familiar streets, highways and landmarks were no more.
I watched this new world unfold and saw a new way of life. Gone were choices, hopes and dreams as “Those who know what is best for you” chose what I should read, hear, see, and think. Gone was individuality, desire and passion to work hard and become better, to see beauty and satisfaction of achievement, to explore and appreciate differences and similarities, to think, speak and express yourself.
I saw major tech companies offer to join “Those who know what is best for you” since they had the technological ability to distinguish and control what people should and should not hear and see.
Many corporations and businesses joined the movement and withheld advertising and products from those who did not agree with them.
