If my son’s death (William Jr.) was handled the proper way by the Mathews County Sheriff’s Department, how come Mathews County denied our request to have a court reporter at our meeting on Oct. 19, 2011 with the people running Mathews County? "Court reporter … absolutely unacceptable," by County Attorney Richard H. Harfst, Oct. 17, 2011.
