Some tout how well Congressman Rob Wittman represents us. The question is, is that just their feelings or is that the actual data of his voting?
The facts according to politicsthatwork.com are Wittman votes for the wealthy 95.5 percent of the time, for big business 86 percent, for taxing the middle class 92 percent and taxing the wealthy 0 percent. Unfortunately, he votes for Humanitarian Aid only 33.3 percent, Disaster Relief only 30.4 percent, Public Health only 27.1 percent, Funding Education only 22.7 percent, Environmental Protection only 2.4 percent and Women’s Rights 0 percent.
So does Rob Wittman represent us? The last I looked at our district voters, we are not mostly big business or the wealthy. We are a lot of people who try to get along every day with today’s challenges. So do the votes for the wealthy and big business help us at all?
