Watching a show on TV called, “The Secret,” it gave the idea that your mind controls your destiny. By focusing in a positive way on what you want, if you believe that you will get it, then it will be yours. Thinking about this I soon realized that I have all that I need and all that I want. Through the great cost that Jesus paid, He has restored the relationship I had with God before I had so callously broken it. Not only did He restore the relationship, He gave to me an adoption as one of God’s children. He gives me good on top of good and if I do feel lacking, I’m reminded that whatever He withholds is actually for my good. According to Romans 8:28 even what seems bad is actually good. The people on the show were bragging of attaining houses, cars and large sums of money. Dust in the wind. I have thought much on my eternal Creator and He is my Reward, (Genesis 15:1.) “The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want,” (Psalm 23:1.) Thank You, Heavenly Father!
