After the 2020 election, Donald Trump did everything he could to try to hold on to power. He filed dozens of lawsuits, he pressured election officials to “find” him votes, and he refused to admit that he lost despite all of his advisors telling him it was over. When all that failed, Trump incited a mob to attack the Capitol to stop the certification of the votes.
He even pressured his vice president to violate his oath to the Constitution. When Pence refused, Trump threw him under the bus. Imagine what would have happened if that mob had gotten their hands on Mike Pence or Nancy Pelosi.
Liz Cheney, who voted with Trump 99 percent of the time when she was in the House, will, for the first time in her life, vote for a Democrat in the 2024 election.
