Admittedly, Trump does make some outlandish claims, such as migrant Haitians eating pets. Actually, I thought the comment was funny. But did ABC really need to interrupt him with fact checking Haitian fast food? Really? It was an obvious ploy by the moderators to distract/annoy him. Too bad Trump didn’t say “Don’t interrupt me. Do it again and this debate is over.” ABC—Ambushed By Comrades.
Following Trump’s faux pas about Haitian culinary habits, the “moderators” should have asked Harris to explain:
—Why there wasn’t a comprehensive plan in place to handle eight million migrants, for their safety and the safety of citizens of this nation. Clearly there wasn’t and isn’t one.
—Why violent crime in Springfield, Ohio increased 142 percent from 2019 to 2022 (FBI data) which coincided with the arrival of 20,000 Haitian migrants, a result of her open border policy.
—Why Springfield’s police, health care system, schools and the safety of its lifelong residents should ...
