Despite the back and forth regarding the election, the choices are very clear. Trump has already served four years, so you know what you are getting there. No need to dwell on that.
And Harris, to her credit, has been clear in past interviews where she stands on the issues. These interviews were before she was worried about getting votes, and she was consistent from year to year, so they are believable. Here are just a few:
—She wants a government takeover of the health care system. No more insurance companies. She was very clear about this. And this would include taxpayer-funded health care for people here illegally.
—Ban fracking and off-shore drilling.
—Impose a carbon tax.
—Hike the federal corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 35 percent (recently lowered to 28 percent).
