Editor, Gazette-Journal:

As Gloucester transitions to a new, more unified board of supervisors, I wanted to publicly thank supervisors Ressler, Crewe, Woodard and former supervisor Altemus (all supported the last two years by supervisor Northstein). Despite opposition from other supervisors, these five worked hard to keep our government and our taxes in check.

I am willing to acknowledge that under the primary leadership of Altemus and Ressler, some mistakes may have been made. But I, for one, would rather have people trying to do the right thing and making occasional mistakes along the way, than have people who make no mistakes while doing the wrong thing over and over again. Thank you, Teresa, Michelle, Bobby and Gregory. Good luck to the new board.
