Primaries are notoriously underrated as serious elections.
Tuesday, Aug. 23 will be a very important election, especially for the people of the 98th District (spanning Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex, King and Queen, King William and Essex counties) because it may determine our next Virginia House Delegate.
To help people become informed voters, a public Delegate Candidate Forum at the Gloucester Colonial Courthouse will take place this Tuesday at 7 p.m. Please attend and bring as many people with you as you can.
The Delegate candidates will be there to give you the reason why they want to be your Delegate. You will have an opportunity to ask questions about what is important to you as a House Delegate.
Please note, Gloucester has recently undergone a redistricting and you may have a new voting place. Your correct polling place will arrive in the mail to you in August on your new voter registration card.
