On behalf of the Fairfield Foundation Board of Directors, we thank the sponsors and supporters of our Annual Historic House Party held at Exchange on Gloucester’s scenic North River on October 12. We especially thank our generous hosts, Chris and Genie Applegate. This event raised over $28,000, which will help match a $100,000 grant awarded by the Cabell Foundation to stabilize the Rosewell Ruins. Funds like this help us manage our five properties in Gloucester and conduct dozens of outreach programs across the region. This year over 8,000 people have been served by our school programs, summer camps, property tours, presentations to community groups, senior living programs, internships and fellowships.
