This letter is an open apology to the hunters who were running their dogs on North River Road in Bohannon recently. Looking back on it, I’m sure you were all enjoying the camaraderie and pleasure of spending the day outside in the fresh air. I am sorry that I ruined it for you. You see, I am the woman who yelled at you to "get your dogs and go home." I am ashamed of my behavior, and truly apologize. I was wrong, but I would also like to explain.
I have health problems, and have been having a particularly difficult time lately. Your dogs were running on vacant property, but also back and forth across mine, several times that day. I have dogs, too, although mine are pets, and indoor dogs. Every time mine heard yours, they pitched a fit, barking their fool heads off.
