Letter: Solid

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
My brother Ray is a very special person. I admire him for the stuff that he does, making him my super hero.
One Sunday at church he helped me pull out my chair and held it as I walked in on my crutches and sat down next to him. He would walk me outside after service and sit on the bench with me as I was waiting for Tony to come pick me up to go home.
When we were in the gymnasium for worship service, he would help Pastor Jim set up the chairs. Some Sundays he would volunteer his time to help clean up the church. Every so often when I have something on my mind he stays after church to sit with me, either inside or outside, so we can talk. He’s such a good friend to me.
I turn to God in prayer thanking him for placing him within my life as my best friend and awesome brother. One thing about Ray is that he’s always uplifting my spirits along with those around him.
