Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Well, it is nearly time to go to the polls once again and as informed citizens exercise our privilege, and yes, our duty, to vote for the candidate of our choice.

Those of us living in the 1st Congressional District are so fortunate to have the chance to vote for Rob Wittman once more to represent us in Congress. I’ve followed his voting record and he has yet to disappoint me. His record has proven him to be a man of integrity and common sense. Having called his office several times, I’ve found him to be accessible and his staff to be courteous and helpful.

This election could be one of the most important this nation will ever face. I hear the Democratic Party calling the GOP the "Party of ‘No’." Well then, thank the Lord for the GOP.
