The upcoming school board election presents an opportunity for us to choose individuals who will dedicate themselves to the GCPS School Board. The School Board Mission’s statement outlines the qualifications for its members. It states:
“As a strong community of learners, Gloucester County Public Schools is dedicated to creating and sustaining an environment that emphasizes education, embraces diversity, and empowers its stakeholders (students, families, staff and community) to accomplish individual, as well as collective goals.”
Let us come together to ensure this mission statement holds true. Our school board needs fresh leadership from someone that will ensure the mission statement is preserved.
