Over the past 15 years, I watched then Sheriff’s Deputy Cindy Saulman teach the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program in our elementary schools. She has witnessed first-hand what it takes to run schools successfully. She understands curriculum development, effective teaching practices, time restraints, discipline issues and the importance of relationships with students and parents. Having been an instructor within the Gloucester County Public Schools, she truly has an understanding of our school system.
Not only has she instructed our students, she has also served for the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy. She is a true leader in our community. She listens, informs and unifies. She has integrity, is level headed, and is a problem solver. Most importantly, she has a servant’s heart who will only do what is best for GCPS because she is invested in our schools and our county.
