Regarding selected letters to the editor (Readers Write) from the Feb. 17, 2011 edition of the Gazette-Journal:
To the lady from Onemo ("Do we want families here or not?"), how is it that people who have second houses here do not pay taxes here? By what methodology are you able to further conclude that they don’t spend much money here? And, if we seldom, if ever, see them, how do we know—really—who they are?
To the lady from Cobbs Creek ("Sniffing around for the truth"), wow, that’s some puppy you’ve got there. He’s so smart, he surely knows that this is America, and that we are free to move about the country.
To the gentleman from North ("Crying the school budget blues"), repeat after me … "the school system is NOT to blame for my lot in life, the school system is NOT to blame for my lot in life, the school sys…"
