I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the recent support shown to Thomas Hunter Middle School students. As the THMS librarian, it is my passion to instill a love of reading in our students. That’s not always easy with “middles.”
When I asked for help, Southwind Pizza, Chick-Fil-A of Gloucester, Faulkner Funeral Home, YMCA of Mathews, Lennon Dental Center, and Mathews High School Athletic Department didn’t hesitate to give me the extra support I needed.
With their generosity, 61 students won really awesome prizes and we were able to add new titles to our collection for all to enjoy. Our book fair would not have been successful without your help! Thank you for helping me show my “middles,” reading really is fun!
