During these sad and unbelievable times, and to feel one is doing something worthwhile and know you are not alone, please go to your local library and check out, read and study (yes, study) Yale Professor of History Timothy Snyder’s books on tyranny, most especially, titled “On Freedom.”
Climate change is one of the many things we can get involved in. As you will find out, global warming was well established by the 1980s. Al Gore’s book, “An Inconvenient Truth,” can be found at Mathews Library.
Now, President Trump and Elon Musk mock science on Twitter (X) with a flood of lies about global warming and denying science. Then when drought, fires and storms bring calamity, politicians blame those who are harmed: example, the California fires and Puerto Rico several years ago.
We can push for solar in all its forms, windmills, etc.
