On behalf of the leadership of Bellamy United Methodist Church, we express our gratitude to all of those in our community who serve to protect and watch over us. This includes the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, Abingdon and Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, CERT, the staff of Gloucester Emergency Management, the emergency staff at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, the staff of our urgent care centers, VDOT, tow truck operators, and the many others—both paid and volunteer—who work to make Gloucester safer for all of us.
Bellamy UMC is honored to do its part for Gloucester as a designated location to assist in times of emergency, providing diapers, formula and food through our Loaves and Britches Outreach Ministry, supporting the work of Jubilee Churches of Gloucester, and providing financial and volunteer support to our schools.
