Letter: Plans for the new year

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
Happy New Year, everyone. It was a blessed day going to church that morning to listen to Pastor Chris preach the sermon out of the book of Luke. I hung out with my brother Walker, as it was his birthday. After church my brother Ray came over to my house and cooked me lunch.
We had lunch on the front porch, talked about Christmas, and discussed the things we plan to do in 2023. One thing I would love to try is to spread God’s word to those in need. God does amazing things all the time. He has been doing wonders through me over the years, like placing Ray into my life on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, and I was in the Christmas cantata on Dec. 18, 2022 when I sang my little heart out that glorious day.
My family and friends always say that they can see a little bit of Jesus within me through the things that I do for others.
