We are writing this letter to express our enthusiastic support for the candidacy of Robert "JJ" Orth for supervisor of Gloucester’s Abingdon District. We have all known JJ for over 30 years and found him to be concerned about Gloucester and its citizens throughout that time.

He is well aware of the issues facing the county, and his intelligence, education, experience and temperament would make him an ideal addition to our board of supervisors. He firmly believes in the importance of a strong school system for the future of our young people and for the future of Gloucester’s economy and he played a strong leadership role in fundraising for the Gloucester High School athletic field complex.
