Editor, Gazette-Journal:This letter is written in response to Randy Burak’s letter in the June 15 Readers Write.

I do not berate members. I simply quote back to them what they have said to me, or others, or in public in regard to aspects of their jobs.
I do not engage in demagoguery or question their religion.
I was never yelling at Mr. Burak or any other board member. There were, however, several other highly frustrated citizens who expressed their disgust with the school board railroading the selection of the next superintendent without citizen approval. They rejected the request that the new person have a good working understanding of the Constitutions of the United States and Virginia.The board was so upset at the large number of people who were not in agreement with their severely restricted selection policy that they called the police. No one was violent, no one was threatening in any way. Why was that part of the meeting not published?The last meeting where I addressed the boar...
