Letter: Music filled Westville Christian Church

I would like to thank all of the entertainers who performed in the Variety Music Hall at the Westville Christian Church for Market Days. They gave their time and energy for our community to enjoy. It was greatly appreciated.

The day began with an outstanding adult choir from Salem United Methodist Church, singing selections of hymns. Jason Cobb gave us pleasure with his guitar renderings of country music. Next we had the Starlight Choir, led by Robin Thompson of Mathews Baptist Church. These girls amazingly sang from memory.

The last groups incorporated a few things in memory of the 9-11 victims. Phil Johnson with After Six led the audience in "God Bless America." Faith Carter, with her "Family and Friends," led us in a moment of silence. The church was filled for these groups which always perform with such enthusiasm.
