Having Kamala Harris as a serious contender for the highest office in the land reintroduces the view that politics is a form of chaos.
Ms. Harris has no real platform and has adopted the tired agenda of the Biden administration with a few additions involving price controls and a capital gains tax increase. Both are likely to have adverse economic results. Price controls, tried by previous presidents, often resulted in shortages. An increase in the capital gains tax to the extent advocated by Ms. Harris is likely to pose a detriment to investing.
Ms. Harris brings a record that is controversial at best, especially her involvement in the creation of a border crisis where millions of illegal immigrants overran our border and have gained access to benefits that were afforded to citizens. This influx of illegal aliens has created a national security threat.
