Letter: Looking back

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
In 2020 we had a secure border, we were energy independent, we had sanctions on China and Iran. We stopped Russia’s pipeline, we made sure Iran could not get a nuclear weapon, and China was giving us billions of dollars in tariffs. We were not in NATO or the UN because other countries relied on the U.S. and did not pay their share. We had a strategic military base in Bagram, Afghanistan. The Abraham Accord (U.S., Bahrain, Sudan, Morocco and Israel) was keeping the Arab nations and the U.S. safe from terrorists.
Biden chose a vice president most Americans agree is incompetent. She has proven this over and over again. When he went into Afghanistan, he made promises to the American people as well as those who fought for years against the Taliban.
