Kudos to the staff and management of the Gazette-Journal for Section C of this past week’s paper, “Are You Prepared?” While it is a practical guide containing all possible solutions to a variety of exigencies, it is also a testament to the importance of the written word, the need for a community voice, as well as being a handy guide to local businesses.
As a member of our Mathews Economic Development Authority, which has a deep interest in the economic stability and vibrancy of our community, I applaud the hard work that it took to produce this edition, and also would like to extend appreciation for supporting our wonderful businesses of Mathews.
Let’s hear it for our local newspaper!
