We are Mathews natives; born and raised in Mathews. We need someone we can trust as our Commissioner of the Revenue. Les Hall is that person. He has served Mathews County for 24 years in various positions, including 12 years as Commissioner of the Revenue.
Mr. Hall is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA from Old Dominion University. He is constantly continuing his education to keep himself apprised of new tax laws. The laws governing taxes are not made by the Commissioner of the Revenue, but he must implement them.
Whenever we have needed advice, his door is always open to help. Les Hall is most knowledgeable and professional. He and his office are advocates for the people.
