This letter is in support of Andy James. I am a resident of Mathews so I cannot vote for a delegate from the Ware District, but I hope the people of Ware recognize what an opportunity they have to elect this outstanding man to serve them. I learned early in life that you could get to know a person really well if you have a business dealings with them.

My husband and I ran a seafood business in Mathews and for many years purchased fuel for resale at our dock. We dealt with J.C. Brown Oil Company, managed then by Andy Jr. When we needed a load of fuel we called and service was always prompt, but on occasion Andy would say "If you can wait a day or two the price will be down by a few cents." Or he might call and say fuel is going to be up in a few days so it’s a good time to buy.

The heavy-duty hose and pump used to pump the fuel from the tanks to the boats became worn. Needless to say it could be a pricy purchase. One was found at an old d...
